The company history founded by Heinrich Bollmann in 1892 continues under the name Bollmann at Pull Up Case since 2024—with the same commitment to quality, craftsmanship, and tradition.

Tradition meets innovation – for over 130 years

The history of Karl Bollmann begins in 1892, when fine leather goods maker Heinrich Bollmann founded the company in Tuttlingen—at the heart of Germany’s medical technology industry. Initially specializing in cases and accessories for the instrument industry, the company quickly evolved.

In 1923, his son Karl Bollmann took over management and expanded the product range to include doctors’ emergency bags and emergency cases—an important milestone that established the Bollmann brand in the medical sector.

When Karl Trautwein joined the company in 1936 as commercial director and co-owner, a new era began. The product range grew and soon included high-quality cases made of leather, synthetic leather, and fabric—perfectly tailored to the needs of everyday medical practice.

After the previous owners passed away, Michael Trautwein took over management of the company from 1975, before Arne Thelen brought new momentum as managing director and co-owner from 1996.

In 2024, Pull Up Case GmbH acquired the Karl Bollmann brand and, under the leadership of Arne Thelen, continues the Bollmann heritage as part of Pull Up.
